These rings take on extended and exaggerated shapes that balance pure, untouched “bone” elements with the winding organic “tendons” that wrap around and overtake. focusing on bringing forms within us to the surface and preserving them in metal. As in most dualities, they not independent, attached to each other within the body. One provides structure, the other flexibility; together they create the foundation of an organism.  This collection questions how we wear rings in an attempt to subvert the standard comfort we are used to with jewelry. It explores forms within our physcial bodies and those surrounding us, a materialization of our inner most selves.
